British MMA promotion BAMMA have announced a new multi-year deal which will see their live events broadcast on HDNet.

Coverage of the promotion will commence with their next event, BAMMA 8 on December 10th which is headlined by a light-heavyweight fight featuring a recent target of the UFC, Jimi Manuwa (10-0) against Antony Rea (21-13).

Other familiar faces will include Bellator’s Jim Wallhead (22-6) going up against former Strikeforce fighter Joey Villasenor (28-9) and former UFC fighter Andre Winner (12-6-1) taking on Diego Gonzales (14-5).

“We see a U.S. TV partner as a major step in our growth as an organization and believe we have found the ideal partner in HDNet. We are very excited about this new partnership and look forward to bringing some first-class events to the U.S. public,” BAMMA CEO David Green said in a press release to announce the deal.

In the British Isles BAMMA currently airs live on SyFy UK and has established itself as Europe’s leading promotion after making key signings such as recently released UFC fighter Nate Marquardt who will make his BAMMA debut in February.
