Bellator 127 drew an average of 609,000 viewers this past Friday night on Spike TV.
That’s down 47,000 viewers from the previous week’s event and shows that they haven’t been able to maintain the promising start to their 11th season that included two events in a row reaching comfortable over 700,000 viewers.
It’s perhaps not too surprising as this past weekend’s show featured a non-title headliner between Daniel Straus and Justin Wilcox that never looked likely to move the needle, while they were also competing against MLB play-offs on that night.
The promotion will no doubt be hoping for an increase in viewers this coming Friday night when Eduardo Dantes meets Joe Warren in a bantamweight title fight.
