Bellator 161 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.
In the main event, Cheick Kongo eeked out a majority decision win (29-28 x2, 28-28) over Tony Johnson in a largely uneventful fight in which takedowns were the main focus of both men, with Kongo edging out his opponent in that regard to get the nod from two of the judges.
In the co-main event, Joe Warren got back to winning ways against Sirwan Kakai after appearing to break his opponents nose with a knee early in the third round, then seizing on a neck crank submission As Kakai tried unsuccessfully to get the fight to the mat.
Earlier in the evening Anastasia Yankova only just managed to hang on to her unbeaten record by controversial split decision (29-28 x2, 28-29) against Veta Arteaga, who was definitely getting the better of the action early in the fight, but started to run out of steam in the final frame.
