It was a busy weekend of MMA action for Bellator this past weekend, with two events in two days at the WinStar World Casino And Resort in Oklahoma, and we’ve got all the results from Bellator 167 below.
In the main event of the evening Darrion Caldwell gained revenge over Joe Taimanglo, who had submitted him in the third round of their fight back in July.
This time it was Caldwell who emerged victorious, earning a clean sweep on the scorecards thanks to his work on the mat despite being under threat from submission attempts each time he took Taimanglo down during the fight.
John Teixeira and Illima-Lei MacFarlane also recorded unanimous decision victories on the main card, while Chidi Njokuani took just 21 seconds to knockout Andre Fialho after dropping him with a jab and then following up with strikes on the mat.
