UFC Fight Night 112 / Bellator 180 TV Ratings

The ratings are in for Sunday night’s UFC Fight Night 112 event in Oklahoma and show that an average of 819,000 viewers on Fox Sports 1.

That ranks it only sixth out of the seven ‘Fight Night’ cards on FS1 so far this year, though it’s hard to make a direct comparison since the show was airing on a Sunday night rather than it’s usual Saturday night spot.

The show peaked twice at 905,000 viewers throughout the course of the main card, beginning with the opening fight between BJ Penn and Dennis Siver, and then again for the main event between Kevin Lee and Michael Chiesa.

Interestingly, the UFC Fight Night 112 prelims on Fox Sports 2 earlier in the evening drew 319,000 viewers, just 1,000 short of the current record for ‘Fight Night’ prelims on that channel.

Meanwhile, on Saturday night Bellator 180 drew 758,000 viewers on it’s usual channel, Spike TV, but also garnered an additional 143,000 viewers on CMTV, for a combined total of 901,000 viewers.

Between the two channels they also pulled together 1.1 million viewers for the main event of the card, which saw Ryan Bader crowned their new 205lb champion after narrowly scraping out a decision victory over Phil Davis.

When you take out the added CMTV ratings the numbers are solid, but not spectacular for a show that was used as a lead-in to the stacked Bellator NYC event.
