Zach Freeman Ruins Aaron Pico’s Bellator Debut With 24 Second Submission

Zach Freeman threw a massive spanner in the works tonight at Bellator NYC by tapping out the much hyped Aaron Pico in just 24 seconds.

Round One:

Pico immediately trying to close the distance, but Freeman threatens with a knee.

They both look to throw and Pico gets stunned by an uppercut and Freeman immediately goes for a guillotine and drops to the mat with it.

Freeman is working a tight d’arce choke and that’s it, Pico is forced to tap-out and Freeman has just produced a massive upset, ruining the debut of Bellator’s most hotly tipped young prospect in a matter of just 24 seconds!!

In retrospect both Pico and Bellator may well regret putting the 0-0 Pico up against an experienced fighter like Freeman, who holds a 9-2 MMA record and was only too happy to give the youngster a rude awakening to life inside the cage.
