Main Card:

Cole Konrad defeats Pat Bennett by unanimous decision (30-26, 29-28, 30-27)

– An anti-climatic end to the evening as both fighters round out of gas long before the final bell.  It’s a relatively uneventful fight but Konrad clearly is in control, and the decision is never in doubt.

Eddie Alvarez defeats Josh Neer by submission (rear naked choke) at 2.08mins of Rd2

– Eddie Alvarez showed why he’s not only Bellator’s lightweight champion, but also one of the best lightweights in the world by comfortably handling ex UFC fighter Josh Neer before locking in a rear naked choke that appeared to put his opponent to sleep.

Pat Curran defeats Roger Huerta by unanimous decision (29-28 x3)

– The tournament favorite crashes out after a lackluster performance that opens the door for Pat Curran to move on to the final.  Bellator execs will no doubt be inwardly groaning at the result after having spent a small fortune on acquiring Huerta’s services.

Toby Imada defeats Carey Vanier by submission (armbar) at 3.33mins of Rd 2

– More slick submission skills from Imada earn him his second opportunity in a Bellator lightweight final.
