Mousasi overwhelmed Izumi with his striking skills, putting him on the back foot from the start and bloodying up before eventually claiming a TKO victory with just 3.29mins of the first round gone.
Tatsuya Kawajiri defeats Drew Fickett by TKO in Rd1
Kawajiri makes short work of late replacement Fickett, getting on top on the mat and then blasting away with ground and pound until the referee brings an end to the fight.
Kenji Osawa defeats Keisuke Fujiwara by unanimous decision
Osawa claims the 3rd spot in the bantamweight tournament with this decision victory which came about thanks to a flurry of takedowns combined with the occasional submission attempt.
Tatsuya Mizuno defeats Trevor Prangley by TKO in Rd1
A knee to the liver dropped Prangley half-way through the opening round and was followed up with ground and pound for the TKO finish. Prangley record not stands at just 1-3-1 since the start of 2010.
