After a couple of quieter weeks at the tail end of October on the MMA front, the pace picks back up in November with major events over the next three weekends, before we get another breather to prepare ourselves for an action-packed December.

Friday, November 2nd: Bellator 79

Some late alterations have dented next weekend’s Bellator 79 event with both bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas and major new signing Paul Daley now off the card.

That leaves the heavyweight’s to pick up the slack, with a semi-final between Thiago Santos and Richard Hale now headlining.

Saturday, November 3rd: World Series of Fighting 1: Arlovski Vs Cole

On November 3rd a new MMA promotion takes center-stage as WSOF gets underway with his debut event which features a solid card and live TV exposure on NBC Sports.

Headlining is a heavyweight clash between Andrei Arlovski and Devin Cole, while there’s a laundry list of other MMA notables on the card including Anthony Johnson, Miguel Torres, Tyrone Spong, Gerald Harris and Josh Burkman that makes this an event well worth watching.

Friday, November 9th: Bellator 80

Featherweight tournament semi-finals feature at the top of the bill for Bellator 80 with Wagnney Fabiano Vs Rad Martinez in the main event while Shahbulat Shamhalaev Vs Mike Richman will establish the other finalist.

Saturday, November 10th: UFC On Fuel TV 6: Franklin Vs Le

The UFC’s first offering of the month sees them make their first visit to China – Macauo to be precise – with arguably the best Fuel TV card of the year, headlined by Rich Franklin’s return to the middleweight division to fight Cung Le.

Other notables scraps on the card include Thiago Silva Vs Stanislav Nedkov, Dong Hyun Kim Vs Paulo Thiago and Takanori Gomi Vs Mac Danzig.

Friday, November 16th: Bellator 81

Bellator 81 features lightweight tournament semi-final action with Ricardo Tirloni Vs Dave Jansen on main event duties while Rich Clementi goes up against Marcin Held.

Saturday, November 17th: UFC 154: GSP Vs Condit

By far the biggest event of the month takes place in Montreal as Georges St.Pierre finally returns to the Octagon looking to unify the welterweight title against current interim champion Carlos Condit.

Meanwhile, top welterweight contenders Martin Kampmann and Johny Hendricks serves as your co-main event, while Patrick Cote Vs Alessio Sakara should be a fun slug-fest further down the card.

the final show of the month belongs to Bellator and will play host to the welterweight tournament final with Lyman Good going up against Andrey Koreshkov.
