DREAM are notorious for last minute additions and changes to their cards, but with just a few days left until their first event of 2011, ‘DREAM: Fight For Japan’ on May 29th, it looks like the fight card may now be complete.

The main focus of the show will be the eight-man all-Japanese bantamweight tournament, with both the quarter-finals and semi-finals set to take place.  Hideo Tokoro Vs Yoshihiro Maeda is perhaps the most notable of the QF match-ups, with both being vastly experienced campaigners, though their recent form has been decidedly patchy.

Whoever wins that bout will face the winner of another solid bout between Masakazu Imanari and Keisuke Fujiwara, two fighters on a good run of form recently.

Meanwhile In a late addition to the other bracket of the tournament,  Darren Uyenoyama has pulled out injured and has been replaced by up and comer Yusaka Nakamura to face Atsushi Yamamoto, while Kenji Osawa vs. Takafumi Otsuka will produce the fourth semi-finalist.

Elsewhere on the fight card there’s a number of individual bouts outwith the tournament structure, with DREAM star Shinya Aoki taking top billing for his fight with former UFC veteran Rich Clementi, while Joachim Hansen Vs Mitsuhiro Ishida should also be an interesting match-up as they each try to build on their recent two-fight winning streaks.
