We’ve got an MMA double-header this weekend, starting with ‘UFC On FX 2’ on Friday night, and then on to Strikeforce: Tate Vs Rousey which airs live on Showtime on Saturday night.

Headlining the Strikeforce show is the most eagerly anticipated woman’s MMA fight since 2009’s Gina Carano Vs Cyborg Santos fight as current 135lb champ Miesha ‘Takedown’ Tate takes on ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey.

The ladies have done a great job hyping the fight and have the talent to make this a bout worthy of it’s main event status.

Meanwhile the rest of the card has been somewhat ravaged due to injury, but there’s still a reasonably solid line-up in place for the main card.

For example, Josh Thompson Vs KJ Noons should be an entertaining lightweight scrap, while Paul Daley Vs Kazuo Misaki also has the potential to deliver suitable amounts of thrills and spills.

Also on the main card is former middleweight champion Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza who faces late replacement Bristol Marunde, while Scott Smith’s fight with Lumumba Sayers has now been promoted to the televised portion of the show.

Check out the full fight card below.
