Titan FC 18 takes place on Friday night live on HDNet, and with just a few days left before the event takes place the promotion have had to make major amendments to the fight card.

Out from the main card are UFC vets Drew McFedries and Rory Markham who pull out for an injury and acting gig respectively, but bouncing back quickly from this blow TFC have instead lined up another former UFC fighter Jake Rosholt and his brother Jared Rosholt to fill in the gaps in the line-up.

Under the circumstances that’s pretty good going, especially considering that Jake Rosholt is arguably more relevant at this stage in his career than the two absentees given that since his 2-2 stint in the UFC the wrestler has gone 5-1, and is currently on a four-fight winning streak. He’ll now be taking on John Ott who gave Bobby Lashley a run for his money last time out.

Meanwhile his brother Jared doesn’t have the same impressive record being somewhat of an MMA rookie with a current record of 2-0, but he could be another one to watch for the future as he’s got a strong wrestling background, coming runner up in the NCAA championships last year.

Despite the changes the main event for Titan FC 18 remains the same, with MMA star Jens Pulver taking on Brian Davidson.
