UFC 169 Fight Card

UFC 169 takes place this weekend in New Jersey and we’ve got the full fight card for you below.

In the main event of the evening we find long-time bantamweight interim title holder Renan Barao who was recently crowned the champion after his original opponent Dominick Cruz pulled out injured and vacated his title.

That left Urijah Faber to step in at three weeks notice to face Barao for a second time after having previously lost to him by unanimous decision back in 2012.

There’s a second title fight in the co-main event as Jose Aldo looks to string together his sixth successful featherweight title defence against Ricardo Lamas who’s on a four-fight unbeaten stretch.

Another eagerly anticipated fight on the main card sees heavyweight stars Frank Mir and Alistair Overeem collide in what looks set to be a “loser leaves town” match-up.

Elswhere, the always exciting John Lineker looks to extend his current four-fight winning streak in the flyweight division against Ali Baguatinov who’s also impressed with two wins in the UFC so far and an unbeaten run extending back 10 fights.

The main card opener sees lightweight veteran Jamie Varner attempting to rebound from a loss last time out when he faces Abel Trujillo.
