UFC 171 Fight Card

UFC 171 takes place this Saturday night in Dallas, Texas and we’ve got the full fight card for you below.

The main card is all about the welterweights with no less than three big fights in the division making their presence felt.  Headlining the show will be a fight to crown the new 170lb champion as Johny Hendricks faces off against Robbie Lawler.

In the c0-main event Carlos Condit will attempt to book himself a title shot against the winner of the fight above when he locks horns with former Strikeforce fighter Tyron Woodley.

A little further down the card there’s more welterweight action as Jake Shields looks to go five fights unbeaten when he takes on the heavy-handed Hector Lombard.

The always entertaining Diego Sanchez will no doubt be looking to get into another war on Saturday night against former TUF fighter Myles Jury who’s undefeated in his 13 fight MMA career so far,  including four wins inside the Octagon.

Opening up the card is yet another former Strikeforce fighter (the fourth to make an appearance on this PPV card) Ovince St. Preux who goes up against Nikita Kyrlov who’ll be hoping to give his home nation of Ukraine something to cheer about after the rough time they’ve been going through lately.
