UFC 183 Fight Card

January ends on a high note this coming Saturday night with UFC 183 in Las Vegas and we’ve got the full fight card for you below.

Headlining the show is a ‘superfight’ between former middleweight champion Anderson Silva, returning from a year on the sidelines due to a broken leg, and former Strikeforce title holder Nick Diaz who moves up to 185lbs for this fight after a two year hiatus from the sport.

In the co-main event current No.3 ranked welterweight Tyron Woodley will face up to one of the divisions fastest rising new contenders, former TUF winner Kelvin Gastelum who’s five fights unbeaten in the Octagon so far.

Both Joe Lauzon and Al Iaquinta are coming off back-to-back wins as they look to lock horns with each other on Saturday night.

With four wins under his belt since rejoining the UFC in 2013, Thales Leites should cement a place in the middleweight top 10 rankings if he’s able to defeat current No.14 Tim Boetsch.

And opening up the main card on pay-per-view will be a striking battle as Thiago Alves and Jordan Mein sqaure off at 170lbs.

Also keep an eye out for the prelims here with top 3 woman’s bantamweight contenders Miesha Tate and Sara McMann fighting in the ‘main event’ of the undercard, while a flyweight encounter between Ian McCall and John Lineker is also well worth looking out for.
