UFC Fight Night 34 from Singapore is the promotion’s first event of 2014 and is also the first to air on the new ‘UFC Fight Pass’ subscription service.

Truth be told there’s a lot of names your probably not going to be familiar with on the card, but the main card is at least a known commodity as Strikeforce welterweight champion Tarec Saffiedine finally makes his UFC debut against South korean star Hyun Gyu Lim who’s notched up two victories in the UFC to date.

The other big name on the card is Japan’sman-of-many-promotions Tatsuya Kawajiri who at long last gets the chance to compete in the UFC against 8-0 newcomer Sean Soriano.

Brazil’s Luiz Dutra (11-2-1) gets his first Octagon outing against another UFC first-timer Kiichi Kunimoto (15-5-2 (1nc)).

Finally on the main card, South Korean fighter Kyung Ho Kang looks to get a first UFC win under his belt after going 0-1 (+1nc) so far in the Octagon against the debuting Sunichi Shimizu who has a 28-8 record that bizarrely also includes 10 draws.
