The second UFC Fight Night event scheduled for this coming Saturday takes place in Halifax, Canada and we’ve got the full fight card for you below.
Headlining the show will be No.2 ranked welterweight contender Rory MacDonald who may well be hoping that a win over current No.9 Tarec Saffiedine could earn him a title shot against the winner of the Johny Hendricks Vs Robbie Lawler rematch in December.
Raphael Assuncao continues to be overlooked for a title shot in the bantamweight division despite being ranked No.3 and having six wins in a row under his belt, so he’ll want to make a statement in his next bout against Bryan Caraway who’s placed at No.9 after back-to-back victories.
The meaningful bouts pretty much end there as far as the UFC Fight Night 54 main card goes, with the preliminary card’s featured bout between dangerous strikers Daron Cruickshank and Anthony Njokuani perhaps being the most noteworthy fight from the remainder of the 12 bout line-up.
