UFC On FOX 9 goes down this coming Saturday night and we’ve got the full fight card for you below.

Headlining the show is a flyweight title rematch between Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson and Joseph Benavidez.

These two previously battled it out at UFC 152, with Johnson sneaking a split decision victory, and having since notched up a further two successful title defenses, while Benavidez has claimed three wins in a row to earn a second fight with the champ.

In the co-main event, long established bantamweight star Urijah Faber takes on one of the brightest young talents on the roster, the hard-hitting Michael McDonald who, despite already having fought once for the interim title, is still only 22 years old.

Another key member of Team Alpha Male, Chad Mendes, is also on the main card and he’ll look to take another step towards a second title shot when he takes on the always tough Nik Lentz.

Finally, kicking off the main card on FOX will be Joe Lauzon who faces former TUF winner Mac Danzig with both men eager to get a win under their belts after suffering two losses apiece.

  1. Yeah, it’s a fairly solid selection of fights. It’s just a pity that John Dodson had to pull out of his fight with Scott Jorgensen.
