Adlan Amagov Vs Jason High Added To UFC Fight Night 35

A bout between Adlan Amagov and Jason High is amongst three new fights that have just been announced for the ‘UFC Fight Night 35’ event on January 15th in Georgia.

Amagov is currently 2-0 in the UFC with his latest victory coming by way of knockout against TJ Waldburger back at UFC 166 in October.

In total the Russian has a 13-2-1 record, with his only loss in the past six years coming against Robbie Lawler during a brief stint in the Strikeforce promotion in January of 2012.

High also moved to the UFC from Strikeforce and has since gone 2-1, and put in a dominant performance on the mat en-route to a decision victory against Anthony Lapsley at UFC 167.

‘The Kansas City Bandit’ has fought for a number of high-profile organizations over the years, including Strikeforce, DREAM and Affliction, compiling an 18-4 career record along the way.

Also joining them on the ‘UFC Fight Night 35’ line-up are fights between Justin Edwards and Ramsey Nijem, plus Trevor Smith and Brian Houston.

As was previously announced, the event will be headlined by Luke Rockhold Vs Costa Philippou.

Over the years I've watched the UFC develop into the powerhouse it is today, organizations like PRIDE, Strikeforce and WEC rise and fall, and Bellator emerge as a new force on the MMA landscape. Throughout it all I've remained captivated by the sport and I'm excited to cover what comes next here on MMA Insight.
