I’m trying hard not to start taking it for granted, but once again the UFC have delivered big for this weekend’s UFC 131: Carwin Vs Dos Santos event by offering every single preliminary fight for free via a combination of Spike TV and Facebook / YouTube.
The action will begin on the UFC’s official Facebook page / YouTube on Saturday night where fivc preliminary bouts will air live, with the likes of Japanese star Michihiro Omigawa, the always tough Krzystof Soszynksi, heavyweight Joey Beltran, TUF 12 fighter Nick Ring and rising featherweight star Dustin Poirier amongst the names to the look out for.
Then it’s on to the Spike TV broadcast where promising wrestler Chris Weidman takes on Jesse Bongfeldt, while a tasty lightweight scrap sees Sam Stout taking on the veteran Yves Edwards.
Update: It now appears that the initial five prelims will also be streaming on YouTube, a first for the promotion. That’s good news for MMA fans who don’t have a Facebook account and so have been unable to watch the previous preliminary shows online.
