Bellator 101 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you right here on https://mmainsight.com.
Joe Warren finally got a chance to compete after a medical clearance SNAFU a few weeks ago, and showed he’s still got what it takes with a second round armbar submission win over Nick Kirk.
The comfortable victory earns the ‘Fight Master’ coach a spot in the final of the bantamweight tournament where he’ll fight Travis Marx later in the year.
Meanwhile, Alexander Sarnavskiy made short work of former UFC veteran Marcus Davis in the welterweight quarter-finals, tapping him out by rear-naked choke just 100 seconds into the fight.
Two other former UFC fighters in the twilight of their careers got booted out at the quarter-final stages last night with Rich Clementi and John Alessio both losing out by decision last night to Ricardo Tirloni and Will Brooks respectively.
Saad Awad takes the other spot in the welterweight semi-finals after he finished Martin Stapleton in the first round with a rear-naked choke.
