Bellator 135 took place last night and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event, Marcos Galvao won his rematch with Joe Warren to win the bantamweight title.

Their first meeting had ended controversially, with Warren being handed a unanimous decision victory despite many feeling Galvao had done enough to get his hand raised and there was more controversy in store last night.

Warren appeared to be getting the better of the fight in the opening round, but then early in the second Galvao locked in a kneebar submission which resulted in Warren letting out a yelp in pain. The ref took that as a sign he was verbal submitting and ended the fight, but Warren disputed that was the case which may mean there’s going to have to be a trilogy fight before these two finally settle their differences.

L.C Davis managed to get a split decision victory over Hideo Tokoro in a bonafide battle in the co-main event, with plenty of exciting and highly competitive action on the feet in the opening two rounds which Davis seemed to edge.

Some equally hard-fought exchanges on the mat occured in the final five minutes, with Davis having to defend multiple submission attempts from Tokoro before threatening with a guillotine choke of his own in the final seconds.

Special mention though has to be made to the fact that Tokoro landed an upkick that was deemd to be illegal in the final round which forced a stoppage and later emerged as most likely to be the reason Davis was sporting some gruesome damage to his mouth – appearing to be missing several of his lower teeth.

Elsewhere, Francis Carmont had a successful start to his Bellator career with a unanimous decision victory against Guilherme Viana, while Ryan Couture earned his second victory in the Bellator cage with a first round rear-naked choke stoppage against Dakota Cochrane.
