Two more tournament champions were crowned last night at Bellator’s 45th event.

In the light-heavyweight tournament finale Christian M’Pumbu waited until the last minute of his bout with Richard Hale to clinch the victory, following up a devastating overhand right that dropped his opponent with ground and pound to earn himself the $100,000 prize.

Meanwhile in the conclusion to the featherweight tournament Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire claimed a unanimous decision win over Daniel Straus that not only earns him $100,000, but also gives him the chance to avenge a controversial loss to 145lb champ Joe Warren in the near future.
