The latest of Bellator’s ‘summer-series’ of events took place last night live on MTV2 with a solid line-up of fights.

The evening established the finalists in the featherweight tournament, with last year’s lightweight tournament winner Pat Curran securing his spot with a unanimous decision win over Ronnie Mann, while Bellator’s big signing of the summer Marlon Sandro also proved his worth with a dominant stand-up display against Nazareno Malegaire.

Ex-WEC fighter Chris Horodecki also made his Bellator debut and took control of all three rounds in his unanimous decision win against Chris Saunders, while heavyweight Neil Grove produced the only finish of the main card with a ground and pound stoppage over former TUF competitor Zak Jensen just two minutes into the opening round.
