During a busy night of MMA action Bellator kicked off their fifth season with a new welterweight tournament taking center-stage.
The main card was decision heavy Chris Lozano, Luis Santos and Douglas Lima all booked their place in the semi-finals after getting the nod from the cageside judges.
Meanwhile former UFC fighter Ben Saunders moved into the final four after produced a third round TKO victory over Chris Cisneros. Saunders mixed things up with ground work and stand-up during the fight, but in the end it was his trademark muay thai clinchwork in the third, laying seige to Cisneros body and head with knees that did the job.
Afterwards the pairings for the semi’s were announced with Saunders Vs Santos and Lozano Vs Lima now set to decide the tournament finalists.
