Bellator 64: TV Ratings

Bellator equalled the best ratings of their sixth season so far on Friday night with 175,000 viewers tuning in to watch the show headlined by a welterweight title fight between Ben Askren and Douglas Lima.

That’s up 35,000 viewers from the previous week’s show on MTV2 and is exactly the same figure as they produce back at Bellator 62 a week prior to that.

That’s likely to be seen as a positive for Bellator given that over on FX their major competitor The Ultimate Fighter: Live was experiencing a further drop in ratings to below the 1 million barrier for the first time in it’s history.

Nevertheless, Friday’s ratings for Bellator were still below last season’s average of 186,000 and indicate that the move from Saturday night’s hasn’t yet produced the ratings increase and stability they were looking for.

Bellator Season 6 Ratings So Far:

  • Bellator 60 ratings: 169,000
  • Bellator 61 ratings: 108,000
  • Bellator 62 ratings: 175,000
  • Bellator 63 ratings: 140,000
  • Bellator 64 ratings: 175,000
