Last night’s Bellator 65 show saw Eduardo Dantas become the new Bellator bantamweight champion after he submitted Zach Makovsky with a second round arm triangle.

Meanwhile Daniel Strauss booked his spot in the featherweight final with a unanimous decision victory over Mike Corey.

Elsewhere Luis Nogueira and Marcos Galvao claimed semi-final spots in the current bantamweight tournament with decision wins over Alexis Vila and Ed West respectively.
