Last Friday night’s ‘Bellator 65’ event drew an average of 163,000 viewers live on MTV2.

That’s down only 12,000 viewers from the previous week, though it still only ranks as fourth in the six events aired so far in their sixth season.

The good news is that we’re now starting to see some kind of stability, for the time being at least, in the ratings, but it’ll surely still be somewhat of a disappointment that they’ve so far failed to breach the 200,000 mark this season despite having managed to do so in the previous three programming blocks that they’ve had on the MTV2 network.

In fact both season 4 and last year’s ‘summer season’ each averaged over 200,000 viewers as a whole. At this stage it’s questionable whether they’ll be able to reproduced that form in their current slot on Friday nights, though it is possible that the audience will increase as the latest season’s tournament draw closer to a conclusion.
