Bellator got their seventh season underway on MTV2 this past Friday night and made a solid start with an average of 190,000 viewers tuning in for the live action.
That’s up 21,000 viewers from the season six premiere earlier in the year and is one of their highest audiences of 2012 so far.
Interestingly, Bellator’s positive ratings came on the same night that The Ultimate Fighter 16 Episode 3 was experiencing it’s worst ratings so far on the FX channel.
This is Bellator’s final season on MTV2 before they make there big move to Spike TV in 2013 which will coincide with an influx of notable fighters into their ranks including Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal and Renao ‘Babalu’ Sobral.
