Bellator 87 which took place on Thursday night drew an average of 705,000 viewers on Spike TV.
That’s down 107,000 viewers from the previous weeks installment and continues a downward trend for the ratings since the season opener a couple of weeks ago which pulled 938,000 viewers.
The event did however pull an extra 323,000 viewers for an immediate replay meaning that overall the show was watched by an audience of over a milllion in addition to pulling a decent 0.6 ratings amongst 18-34 year-old males.
It’s perhaps not surprising that the ratings dropped again given that there wasn’t a title fight or major fighter on the event. However Bellator and Spike TV execs will be hoping that the ratings at least start to level out, if not improve over the coming weeks.
