It was a night of quick finishes at Bellator 93 last night with eight of the 10 fights ending in the first round and three coming to a conclusion inside of 20 seconds!
Only the main event went to a decision, with Dave Jansen finally winning last season’s lightweight tournament final unanimously against Marcin Held.
Ryan Martinez produced a swift end to his fight with Travis Wiuff, wading forward with a series of hooks that dropped his opponent before finishing up with a few more right hands for the TKO victory just 18 seconds into the fight.
Meanwhile a fight between Marcus Davis and Waachiim Spiritwolf came to an unfortunate conclusion after Davis landed an illegal knee to the groin of his opponent which he was unable to recover from, resulting in a ‘no contest’ ruling.
One of the night’s biggest talking points occured during the prelims however as Michael Page made his Bellator debut in stunning fashion, making Ryan Sanders pay for rushing in on him by landing a big right hand that ended his night just 10 seconds into the bout.
