Bellator 94: Quick Results

Bellator 94 took place last night with two tournament finals and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event Emanuel Newton won the light-heavyweight tournament and picked up the $100,000 prize money after claiming a unanimous decision win over to Mikhail Zayats, scoring a knockdown in the final round to help pave his way to victory.

Meanwhile, Dave Rickels won the welterweight tourney by TKO against Saad Awad, but the stoppage was controversial. Rickels rocked Awad with punches close to the end of the round and the two then exchanged shots toe-to-toe against the cage, with another right from Rickels dropping his opponent belly first to the canvas just as the bell sounded. Awad was slow to get to his feet and the referee decided to wave the fight off rather than give Awad a chance to recover in-between rounds.
