Bellator Announces Coaches For New Reality Show On Spike TV

Bellator today officially confirmed that Randy Couture will star as a coach on their new reality show , ‘Fight Master: Bellator MMA’ which will air on Spike TV later this year and unveiled three other coaches.

They are world renowned trainer Greg Jackson, MMA legend Frank Shamrock and former Bellator featherweight champion Joe Warren.

The show will take place over 10, one-hour episodes with a cast of 32 welterweight fighters who’ll train in four separate camps with the ultimate prize for the winner being a place in Bellator’s next 170lb tournament.

‘Fight Master’ begins filming later this month and will air in the summer on Spike TV.

We already know that UFC president Dana White is furious about Couture jumping ship to sign up for this show and it’s fair to say he’s not going to be pleased at Bellator’s other new recruits either.

White has long-standing bad blood with Shamrock  so in all honesty their relationship couldn’t really get any worse anyway, but while he’s been a consistent critic of Jackson for the overly cautious gameplan’s he develops for his fighters in the UFC, his appearance on the show could be the catalyst for things to really turn ugly between them.

It’s potentially a smart move on Bellator / Spike TV’s part as any conflict between White and the coaches will help generate publicity and draw attention to their new show.
