UFC aren’t the only promotion who are trimming down their roster as we approach the mid-point of 2015, with Bellator also having released eight fighters this week.
The most notable name her is MMA veteran Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou who signed for the promotion a year ago and got off to a good start with back-to-back wins in the Bellator cage.
He suffered a second round TKO loss in his last outing against Linton Vassell however, and that appears to have been enough to convince the company to let him go.
Sokoudjou is a man of many promotions though, so this is nothing new to the 31 year-old who leaves with a career record of 16-13.
There’s a few other fighters on the cut list who have won more fights than they’ve lost during their time competing for Bellator, but all were coming off a loss.
Check out the full list below, including their Bellator win-loss record.
