In the immediate aftermath of UFC 121’s title showdown a dejected Brock Lesnar was making his way back to the dressing rooms when he was confronted by WWE star  ‘The Undertaker’ who cryptically asked, “You wanna do it?”

The two men then glared at each other before Lesnar walked off without saying a word leaving onlookers to wonder exactly what was behind it all.

Later it emerged that the WWE had recently approached Lesnar about the possibility of a match with ‘The Undertaker’ at an upcoming Wrestlemania event.

Since then there’s been a buzz on the internet about the situation, with MMA fans wondering whether Lesnar is about to return back to his pro-wrestling roots after being defeated by Cain Velasquez, while WWE fans get excited about the possibility of one of the sports biggest ever stars making a comeback.

Both sets of fans need wonder no longer however, as UFC president Dana White today slammed the door shut on the possibility of this happening.

“Brock Lesnar is still under contract with the UFC … he is not going to wrestle in the WWE. He cannot wrestle, box or fight anywhere else,” White informed the TMZ site.

To my mind this is just mischief-making by the WWE, as they attempted to capitalize on the hype surrounding the UFC 121 event to gain some headlines and extra promotion for their own show.
