Chael Sonnen has thrown everything but the kitchen sink at his rival Anderson Silva in the insults department over time, but interestingly the champion himself rarely returns fire.

He couldn’t resist the opportunity to take a dig at Sonnen in a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on ‘UFC Tonight’ however, stating, “Chael talks too much. Chael needs to train. No more talk, train. Going to Brazil? Big problem.”

Of course we all knew it was inevitable that it wouldn’t be long before Sonnen issued a suitable scathing response, and that moment has now arrived.

“If I want your opinion Anderson, I will beat it out of you,” he fires back.

He also shrugs his shoulders at the idea that going to Brazil – a country that he’s repeatedly mocked and put down – will be a problem for him.

“What’s the difference? It’s a plane ride somewhere. I’m not fighting you in Brazil, I’m not fighting you in Chicago, I’m not fighting you in Florida – I’m fighting you in the Octagon.”

Sonnen also takes a dig at Silva’s post-fight excuse the last time they fought when he blamed an injured rib for his performance.

“Your rib is inside of a coward, that’s the problem your rib’s got. [It’s] The same problem your hands and feet have – their attached to you, dummy. I’m going to be attached to you too for 25 minutes or until you give up.”
