Two of the UFC heavyweight division’s most dangerous strikers, Cheick Kongo and Pat Barry, are set to square off at UFC On Versus 4 on June 26th.
The fight has been on many fans wish-list’s for some time due to the fact that both Kongo and Barry are highly regarded kickboxer’s.
In his kickboxing career Kongo produced a 21-2 record, while Barry fought in K-1 for several years, going 18-6.
In MMA terms Kongo is the far more experienced fighter, but he’s not been on the best of form lately, going 2-2-1 in his last five outings in the Octagon.
Meanwhile Barry has gone 3-2 in his UFC career to date, 6-2 in his career overall, with both of his losses coming by way of submission due to his lack of ground skills.
