When news first emerged that Zuffa had purchased Strikeforce, UFC President Dana White, who’s often had an adverserial relationship with the rival promotion, stated that it was unlikely he would be seen at future Strikeforce events.

It seems that he’s since had a change of heart however as he posted on twitter earlier that he will indeed be attending the first major Strikeforce event since the takeover later this evening.

“Confirmed I am at strikeforce DIAZ vs DALEY!! Live on Showtime!! Biz as usual :)”

Not only that but he linked to a picture of himself wearing a Strikeforce t-shirt, a sight many fans would never have thought would happen just a few months ago.

White isn’t the only notworthy guest attending the show.  UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta joins White, while CBS executive Kelly Kahl is also believed to be in the arena which will no doubt spark off new rumors that Strikeforce could be set for a return to the network later in the year.
