Just a day after stating that Brock Lesnar Vs Frank Mir 3 may be on the cards next, UFC president Dana White may be having a change of heart.

At Friday’s UFC 122 Q&A White was asked what was next for Lesnar following his defeat to Cain Velasquez last month.  White said he’d not spoken to Lesnar but the last he’d heard the former champion wanted a rubber match with old foe Frank Mir, and that bout would, “make sense.”

It appears fans were less than enamored with that plan however, and quickly let him know.

“People have been saying on my Twitter that they’re not happy with that fight,” White tells MMAjunkie.com. “It’s something I need to re-think.”

It’s not only the fans who are less than enthused by the suggested match-up.  Just days earlier Mir had stated his lack of interest in a third fight with his nemesis at this stage, instead suggesting that Lesnar needed to get back on track first.

It’s reasonable to assume Lesnar’s opinion could still sway White one way or another, but he’s still believed to be hunting in Canada at this moment in time so we’ll have to wait until his return to find out for sure who the former pro-wrestler wishes to face next.
