Immediately after the farcical UFC 112 main event between Anderson Silva and Demain Maia back in April an angry and embarrassed Dana White stated that he would make it up to the fans.

Since then he’s went quiet on the subject, but MMAWeekly have revealed that the UFC president has not forgotten his promise.

“What I’m going to end up doing is probably taking a big, huge fight that should have been on pay-per-view and put it on free TV. I’m actually working on it right now,” he said recently, adding, “I said I’d make up for that, and trust me, I’m gonna.”

Right now there’s no indication of who may be involved in the fight but hopefully more details will emerge soon and it’ll certainly be interesting to see what they have up their sleeve.
