Dana White Suffers Menieres Disease Attack While In Ireland

UFC president Dana White is believed to have suffered another attack of Menieres Disease today in Ireland while attending the Trinity Awards where he was due to accept an award.

“DUBLIN: @danawhite suffered a bad attack during the Trinity award ceremony, thx for support & understanding, we’ll be back soon, luv u guys,” White’s friend Nick ‘The Tooth’ stated on Twitter.

‘The Tooth’ also followed up with another update later in the day.

“Ireland was AWESOME! @ so bummed about the attack – wanted t grab pints, but no way.. we’re in London & he’s resting #thx4wellwishs”

White recently underwent surgery to help combat the symptoms of the disease which include vertigo, sickness and loss of hearing and can trigger without warning.

While White has since returned to the helm at the UFC he admitted after a recent press conference that it can take a long time to recover from the surgery and that it could be several months before he felt better.

He had been due to attend this weekend’s ‘UFC On Fuel TV 7’ event in London, England, but after today’s incident it’s not certain whether he’ll still be fit to attend or not.

Either way we hope he gets back to 100% as soon as possible and that he can find a way to overcome the disease in the future.
