Following last night’s ‘UFC Fight Night 32’ event in Brazil, Dana White gave his immediate reaction to some of the evening’s big talking points.

Check out the keynotes from what he had to say below, and scroll down to watch the full interview for yourselves.

– Dana was blown away by Vitor Belfort’s performance, describing it as “unbelievable”. He thinks the biggest thing is that Belfort now seems to be mentally strong, something he wasn’t in the past.

Dana sees big fights in Belfort’s future, and he thinks “it would be crazy” if Belfort doesn’t get the next title shot against the winner of December’s rematch between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman. However, he does point out that a fight with Lyoto Machida at 185lbs would also be a very big match-up.

In general he says he’s really happy with the way the UFC’s middleweight division is starting to shape up now.

– Dan Henderson’s contract came to an end to tonight with a tough loss, but he still wants another four-fight deal. White says he knew Hendo would still want to fight, but he’ll have to sit down and talk with him about it.

– White confirms that reports that Cain Velasquez won’t need surgery on his shoulder, but does face a lengthy spell of rehab, so the rumors of a title defence against Fabricio Werdum in Mexico early next year aren’t true.

White says he’ll need to speak to Werdum to figure out whether he wants to cotinue to wait for his title shot, or take another fight while waiting for Velasquez to recover.
