UFC president Dana White and current fighters Urijah Faber and Joe Lauzon recently spoke to FOX about the promotion’s upcoming television deal with the network and it’s clear that they all can’t wait for it to begin.

“I can’t explain to you how excited I am about the UFC on FOX, it’s not even possible,” White said. “It’s all I think about, it’s all I work on, it’s all I care about right now. I’m beyond excited.”

Current bantamweight contender Faber is equally excited about the deal.

“To have the UFC on the main stage and for me to have the opportunity to be seen on that station in front of so many folks, and I know what a great job they do, I think it’s going to take everything to the next level and I’m ready to ride that wave.”

Meanwhile lightweight fighter Lauzon predicts that mixed martial arts is about to take America by storm.

“I have so many friends that had no idea what the UFC was until I started doing it. Now they are hardcore fans, whether I’m fighting or not. I kinda feel like you just have to have some kind of reason to be exposed to it and there’s going to be Friday night fights and things like that. People are going to watch and everyone’s going to get addicted. It’s going to be awesome.”
