UFC On Versus 6 on October 1st just got itself a headline attraction as bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz looks to defend his belt against Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson.

Cruz is coming off an entertaining and competitive decision win over Urijah Faber at UFC 132 earlier this month which extended his current unbeaten run to nine fights.

Johnson has also been on an impressive run of late though, defeating some big name bantamweights like ‘Kid’ Yamamoto and Miguel Torres on his current four fight winning streak, leaving him 10-1 in his MMA career so far.

Remarkably the 5ft 4″ ‘Mighty Mouse’ broke his leg during his last fight with former champion Torres, yet still persevered to win by decision. He’ll bring that champion’s heart and determination to the cage in October along with lightning quick takedowns, dominant wrestling and ever-improving stand-up.

He’ll have his hands full against Cruz though who is himself exceptionally quick, has great movement, is a terrific in-and-out combination puncher and has good takedown defense and scrambling abilities.
