The weigh-ins have now taken place for tomorrow’s DREAM 17 event in Japan, but they didn’t quite go off without a hitch.

While the majority of the fighters made weight without a problem one of the bantamweight tournament competitors Abel Cullum was nearly 4lbs overweight.

Though he is being given extra time to make the weight it’s been reported that it’s more than likely that he will not be able to do so given that he looked burned out on the scales and was shaking.

This is very unfortunate given that it’s a tournament bout, but a catchweight may be the only way to keep the fight on the card.
