Since their recent New Year extravaganza the DREAM promotion have kept quiet on their plans for what comes next, but yesterday they finally got round to holding a press conference and outlined the path they will be taking in the next 12 months.
They announced that seven events are anticipated in 2010, the first of which will be DREAM 13 on the 22nd of March. As always with DREAM it may be much closer to the event before we get the full picture as to who will be taking part, but it has been confirmed that Bibiano Fernandes will defend his featherweight belt against Joachim Hansen.
The 13th outing for DREAM will also feature a new signing – former Pride and UFC fighter Ryo Chonan who has recently been competing in DEEP.
Looking into the future DREAM will be taking their show on the road to South Korea for their 14th event in April. In addition, during the course of the year their intention is to crown middleweight, light-heavyweight and heavyweight champions.
DREAM also confirmed that they will bring back The White Cage for one event only during the year.
