UFC lightweight up and comer Evan Dunham has been forced to withdraw from his bout with George Sotiropoulos at UFC 132 due to an injury.

Moving swiftly to provide an alternative match-up, the UFC have now signed Rafael Dos Anjos to step in as his replacement against the Australian for the July 2nd event.

The injury blow will be a disappointment for the 29 year-old Dunham who’s promising four fight winning streak in the UFC has recently been undone by back-to-back defeats.

Meanwhile both Sotiropoulos and Dos Anjos will be aiming to get back to winning ways after each of their unbeaten runs came to an end in their last visit to the Octagon.

For Sotiropoulos in particular, a win could propel him right back into the title mix at 155lbs given that he’s lost just once in eight UFC appearances since his stint on The Ultimate fighter Season 6.
