With the UFC having taken center-stage over the past few weeks it would be easy to forget that a certain heavyweight star Fedor Emelianeko is also competing this weekend.

Fighting under the M-1 Global banner, Emelianenko will take on MMA veteran Jeff Monson as he attempts to get back to winning ways after suffering three losses in a row.

Interestingly, after having fought through much of his heavyweight career while being one of the lighter fighters in the weight class, Emelianenko upped his weight training for this fight and packed on 15lbs more than his last fight with Dan Henderson, tipping the scales at 238lbs, the same as his opponent Monson.

Meanwhile, the rumor is that Emelianenko could be headed to Japan next with DREAM keen to have him featured in their New Year event.

Check below for all the weigh-in results from the M-1 Global: Fedor vs Monson event, and if you don’t stay up late to watch the pay-per-view event from Russia in the wee hours of Sunday morning then check back to https://mmainsight.com for all the results the next day.
