First FX Trailer for The Ultimate Fighter 16 Emerges

FX have released their first trailer for The Ultimate Fighter Season 16 which premieres on Friday, September 14th.

The brief video doesn’t give anything away, but nevertheless it’s good that they are starting to make viewers aware of the show as they’ll want to make sure that this season, which features Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson as team coaches, hits the ground running and doesn’t suffer the same sub-par ratings as TUF: Live did earlier in the year.

Personally, I’m not convinced that Carwin and Nelson are the key to TV ratings gold, and continuing in the unpopular Friday night slot is also going to be a challenge, so here’s hoping that the 32 fights battling to make their way into the UFC are able to stir up the kind of drama that’s going to make people tune in each week.
