FOX Will Air Encore Showing Of The Ultimate Fighter 17 Premiere On Saturday Night

FOX have made an interesting move to bolster ‘The Ultimate Fighter 17’ which premiered last night on FX by scheduling an encore edition of the 90 minute show on ‘big’ FOX on Saturday night after the ‘UFC On FOX 6’ event airs live on the channel.

That’s great news for the UFC who will essentially seize control of the entire night’s entertainment on FOX and is the perfect way to spread the word about TUF 17 for those who may have missed last night’s premiere.

UFC president Dana White has been full of praise for FOX since they began their seven year TV deal with the network last year and with this kind of backing it’s not hard to see why.

It’s great to see FOX throwing this level of support behind the UFC and hopefully their efforts will help rejuvenate the long-running reality show who’s ratings fell to an all-time low during the 15th and 16th editions which aired in a less-than-favorable Friday night slot on FX last year.
